How to create an effective communication banner?

Signitic allows you to integrate communication banners into your signature.

It is important that your banner is readable. The size of the banner must be appropriate, with a clear message, a choice of colors that is consistent and aligned with your brand guidelines.

To create a banner, you have two options:

  • Create your banner using the software of your choice, then import it

  • Create your banner directly on Signitic via Canva

1️⃣ The size of your banner

It should not exceed the dimensions 600px x 200px.

More generally, the first reflex to have is to think about your email signature as a whole. Thus, if your signature has a width of 500px, choose a campaign of the same width.

2️⃣ The format

Only the formats .jpg,.png and .gif are accepted.

However, we recommend prioritizing the use of the .png format for better quality or the .gif format to make your campaign as engaging as possible (it will more easily capture your recipient's attention).

3️⃣ The content

To create an impactful banner, it is important that your message is clear and readable. Be concise and get straight to the point.

We also recommend adding a call to action that will redirect your target audience to a new page. This will make it easier for your recipient to take action.

An effective CTA can encourage your recipient to get in touch with you or simply promote your company's offers. This way, you can highlight a new offer, a new article, or even an event.

To ensure its effectiveness, limit the use to one CTA per email banner.

Once your design is complete, all that's left is to Import it into Signitic.

Your banner will appear in the preview alongside your signature template, allowing you to adjust the format as you see fit.
