# Automatically Generate UTM for Your Campaigns

Automatically set up a UTM on your campaign.

Adding campaigns on Signitic is a good way to communicate during your email exchanges. It is possible to use automatically generated UTMs for managing your analytics.

## **❶** What is a UTM

A UTM, or Urchin Tracking Module, is a small piece of code that is added to the URL of a web page. It allows you to precisely track the origin of clicks on that page. In other words, it's like a unique label you attach to each link to know where the visitors who click on it are coming from.

## **❷** Automatically generate a campaign's UTM

When creating your [campaign](https://support.signitic.com/fr/articles/8224272-creer-une-banniere-de-signature-e-mail-avec-canva-dans-signitic.md), go to the Scenario tab.

Under the "Link" field, add the base of the link to which you want the campaign to redirect. Once this is done, click on "Automatically generate UTMs"
