My add-in and my signature no longer appear on my Outlook application

Can't find your add-in anymore? Your signature doesn't appear automatically? Your Outlook application is likely encountering an error.

The Signitic add-in is a complement. Its startup is therefore managed by your Outlook application. If it does not appear after a few seconds on your application, it may be that your application has not started correctly. To verify this, you can test it on the Web version of Outlook. If the add-in appears from the Web version, then it confirms that your application is experiencing a problem.

Here is a maneuver to solve this problem:

1️⃣ Windows

Open the Run application on the computer,

Write:

  • "tskill outlook" if you are using the classic version of the Outlook application.

  • "tskil olk" if you are using the New version of the Outlook application.

This should close the Outlook application; if not, try the "Tskill olk" option.

Once this is done, open Outlook again and wait a few moments. Open a new email, the add-in should appear.

2️⃣ Mac

To access the task manager on your MAC, here is the shortcut: Cmd⌘ + Option + R. Once the task manager is open, force quit Outlook.

Once this is done, open Outlook again, wait a few moments, and retest.

3️⃣ Managing applications on classic Outlook

It is possible that an option is disabled on your application. To check, here is the path to find it: File -> Option -> Advanced Options

Check "show applications in Outlook"
