# Manage the space between the closing formula and your signature

Manage the space between the closing formula and the signature globally.

If you have added a polite phrase to your signatures, you can manage the spacing between it and your signatures. Here’s how to do it.

## **❶** Spacing between your polite phrase and your signature

Go to your [Settings](https://app.signitic.com/settings/signature) in the sub-tab [Signature](https://app.signitic.com/settings/signature). Scroll through the options to find “**Polite Phrase Spacing**”.

By default, this spacing is set to 1. You can reduce it to 0 to minimize the spacing. You can also increase this spacing if desired.
