The primary group remains the user's default group. Secondary groups are complementary: they make additional signatures available when a user needs to sign on behalf of several groups or contexts.
1. Open Users. 2. Edit the target user. 3. In the Identity section, click Add to another group. 4. Select the secondary group with the autocomplete field. 5. Save the user.
The same group cannot be both the primary group and a secondary group for the same user.
From the Users list, select several users and open the Edit bulk action.
You can then use:
Add to a secondary group;
Remove from a secondary group.
The v6 add-in indicates whether a user has secondary signatures with the hasSecondarySignatures field.
Secondary signatures are retrieved through the /nadine/v6/secondary-signatures endpoint.
A secondary group without a direct signature template is kept on the user, but it is not returned in the secondary signatures list.
No. It remains required and continues to define the default behavior.
The group must have a direct signature template.
Signitic removes that group from the secondary groups list to avoid duplication.
