When deleting a connector, choose what happens to the users linked to it in Signitic.
You can keep them by unlinking them from the connector, request their deletion, or cancel the operation.
1. Check the users linked to the connector
Before deleting the connector, review the users linked to it. In the Users list, filter by connector to identify the affected profiles.
Check that this list matches the users you want to keep or delete. If in doubt, cancel the operation and complete the necessary checks.
2. Start deleting the connector
In Settings > Connectors, open the relevant connector and start its deletion. In the confirmation dialog, choose the action that suits your needs.
3. Choose what happens to the users
Cancel
The deletion is canceled. The connector and its linked users are retained.
Choose this option to check the affected users before continuing.
Keep users
The connector is deleted, but the users remain in Signitic. They are unlinked from this connector, so it no longer synchronizes their information.
Choose this option to remove the connection while keeping the profiles in Signitic.
Delete users
The connector is deleted, and the affected users are handled by Signitic’s deferred deletion process.
Choose this option only if you also want to delete these profiles from Signitic.
4. Check the result
Check that the connector has been deleted.
If you selected Keep users, check that the profiles are still present and are no longer linked to this connector.
If you selected Delete users, allow for deferred processing. If you are unsure about the result, contact Signitic support.
